Interactive 3D Explainers

Created animated 3D assets optimised for real-time rendering on the web platform and worked with a developer to add fun interactive elements to the page via tools such as Three.js.

For a more detailed breakdown of how we managed to achieve this, I co-wrote an article explaining our process.

For the intro, we did an animated sequence with a combination of 2D and 3D styles. We wanted to create an immersive experience to make our readers feel like they are being welcomed into their new apartment.

Animated sequence to demonstrate ways to maximise storage in a bedroom.

Animated sequence with light map transitions and light switch interaction at the end to show how different light fixtures can affect the ambience of a bedroom.

Shareable interactive DIY section at the end of the article.

Isometric Drawings

Illustrations to visualise how a bedroom could be used differently depending on the occupant's stage of life.

Print Story

For the print arrangement, we did a cut-out activity to mirror the DIY section we had in the interactive.
